Meet Raise Room, a live dashboard that connects HubSpot and your capital raise data, powered by InvestNext MCP. Align your team with a centralized view of where your investors stand and clear priorities on where to take action next. This article includes an overview of the dashboard, plus five starter prompts you can use to act on any insights surfaced.
When raising capital, there’s a never-ending to-do list. You’re hosting webinars, sending marketing emails, capturing leads, and trying to both fill and convert your pipeline simultaneously.
But capital isn’t earned through activity volume alone.
In a lean capital market, teams need to work in lock-step to tackle the most promising opportunities first.
But how can you do that when the information you need lives in different tools, owned by different teams, and accessible only when asked for?
Model Context Protocols (MCPs) create a powerful bridge between your systems and teams. This article uses InvestNext MCP to create a customizable capital raise artifact called Raise Room.
Raise Room puts the right potential investors in front of your team, at the right moment in time, with the right context to get them to take the next step toward investment.
Dashboard walkthrough
Explore the Raise Room
The Raise Room below is filled with sample data for a sponsor with about $60M of equity under management, raising $12M for a value-add multifamily deal.
Each section in Raise Room identifies the source of its information:
- InvestNext MCPProvides accurate, real-time investment records and current raise participation, including available subscription and funding information.
- HubSpot’s Claude connectorProvides CRM context like relationship owners and recorded conversations. Webinar activity comes from your webinar integration where accessible, or an attendee export.
- InvestNext’s Zapier integrationsSend configured events to HubSpot, including deal room views and subscription milestones. Claude can then use the records those workflows create.
Guided tour
Take the guided tour
Start your day with what changed.
The updates button in the top corner opens the last 24 hours of activity in your raise. You’ll see funding received, email replies, stage changes, and subscription milestones, along with new lead forms and deal room views.
Customize what notifications appear in this section to ensure every member of your team starts the day knowing what’s new and what needs to be addressed.
See where every dollar stands.
The pipeline progress bar measures your raise against its target set in InvestNext. Dollars are shaded by how close they are to real capital, from funded to open pipeline.
This is your high-level overview of capital in flight.
Know who needs a call today.
Pipeline by stage shows how your opportunities are distributed. Needs attention ranks the ones that need action now, such as a commitment with subscription documents not started or a signed investor whose funding hasn’t arrived.
Each row includes the relationship owner and the investor’s most recent activity, so whoever makes the call has context before they dial.
Measure what your events produced.
Track how your webinars are actually contributing to your raise target, and determine which webinars perform best. For each webinar, a funnel follows attendees from registration through the deal room to an opportunity and a commitment. A companion table counts the attendees who still have no opportunity in the raise, which is your follow-up list.
A chart of funds received against total committed shows how much is still owed before your final close.
Learn where investors come from and what they’re asking.
Lead sources from HubSpot show which channels bring in committed dollars and which bring first-time investors. Questions from webinar Q&A, call notes, and emails are grouped by topic and split by where each person stands in the raise.
Claude refreshes the topics every Monday, giving your team a clear subject to tackle for its next investor session.
Spot your warmest conversations.
Identify which investors likely have capital on hand. Capital recently returned lists investors who received a distribution in the last 90 days and shows whether they’re part of this raise yet, so you can reach out to engage them.
Email clicks and weekly deal room views add context on what those investors have seen recently. Use that context to choose what to share, and keep tracking details out of the outreach itself.
Move every subscription to funded.
Know where to intervene while investors are completing requirements. Days to fund shows the median time from commitment to funding and highlights the slowest step in your subscription flow.
Use these insights to tailor progress check ins or build additional investor education around areas where investors experience the most friction.
The subscription board below it places each committed investor in the step they’re waiting on, with contact details, owner, and days waiting on every tile, longest wait first.
Know who’s missing.
Prior investors who aren’t in the current raise can be filtered by the groups you already maintain in InvestNext, such as a multifamily interest list or IRA investors.
Each row shows past participation, typical check size and any preference recorded in HubSpot.
Act on what you find.
The bottom of Raise Room holds five starter prompts below, already filled in with your raise name. Copy one into Claude to turn what you just saw into drafts your team can review.

Prompt 1 · Pairs with tour step 4
Send Personal Webinar Follow-Ups Without Starting from Scratch
The problem: Everyone gets the same recording email because preparing individual follow-ups means piecing together information across systems. Personalization yields faster results.

- Webinar transcript or summary

Using the attendee list for [webinar], the supplied webinar summary, and relevant HubSpot notes, prepare follow-up recommendations for our team. Use InvestNext to check each matched attendee’s prior participation in [projects] and current opportunity or commitment in [raise]. Flag uncertain matches, including people associated with multiple investing entities. Draft a short personal email for each confirmed match, referencing recorded questions where relevant. For investors already committed, focus on questions and next steps. Use only the approved materials for offering details. Show the supporting context for our team separately from the email drafts. Do not send anything or change records.
You’ll get: A set of drafts your relationship owners can review and make their own, with the relevant context alongside them.

Review HubSpot notes from [date range] and the supplied Q&A for questions explicitly asked about [offering]. Group recurring topics and show the source of each question. Use InvestNext to identify whether confirmed matches have an opportunity or commitment in [raise]. Recommend one topic for a 20-minute investor education session. Draft the session outline, a short FAQ, and an invitation for contacts who asked about that topic. Base factual answers on the supplied approved materials and flag anything requiring our team’s input. Do not treat a question as evidence of why someone hasn’t invested.
You’ll get: A concrete starting point for your next session, shaped by what people have actually asked.
How it works, in 5 steps
What InvestNext contributes: Offering context and recorded participation in the current raise.
- Choose the scope

Review [selected HubSpot list] and recent recorded activity for [offering]. Find contacts whose earlier notes include an explicit question or requested follow-up relevant to [topic]. Check confirmed matches against current InvestNext opportunities and commitments. Prepare a short briefing for each relationship owner with the earlier question, recent activity, and current participation. Using the supplied approved resources, draft a follow-up that addresses the recorded question without mentioning activity tracking. Explain where the connection is tentative. Do not infer investment intent from attendance or a deal room visit, and do not send messages.
You’ll get: A briefing and a follow-up draft for each relationship owner, built on what the investor actually asked.
How it works, in 5 steps
What InvestNext contributes: Investment history and current-raise participation through MCP. A configured Zapier workflow can separately record supported InvestNext activity, such as a deal room view, in your CRM.
- Choose the activity to review
- Bring forward earlier conversations
- Check the current relationship
- Prepare a briefing and draft
- Choose the next step

Help us prepare an outreach plan for [upcoming raise] using the supplied approved offering summary. Review investors in [selected previous projects] through InvestNext and contacts in [HubSpot list] with recorded preferences or follow-up requests relevant to this strategy. Include relevant webinar attendance as a separate observation, not a stated preference. Check for current opportunities, commitments, and recorded outreach. Propose groups for our team to review, with the supporting records and any uncertain matches. Draft a call brief or invitation for each proposed approach. Do not infer suitability, available capital, or current interest from past participation.
You’ll get: A considered starting point for outreach, with the reasons behind each suggestion available for review.

Review [webinar] using the supplied registration and attendance lists, available HubSpot follow-up records, and InvestNext records for [raise]. Examine the 30 days after [event date]. Separate existing investors from first-time prospects, and distinguish participation recorded before the event from new activity afterward. Show matched audience counts and the recorded opportunities, commitments, and funding for each group, keeping those measures separate. Flag missing dates and uncertain matches. Prepare a short retrospective describing observed patterns without attributing causation to the webinar. Recommend one change to test at our next event and draft the supporting session outline or follow-up copy.
You’ll get: A short retrospective and one specific change your team can test at its next event.
How it works, in 5 steps
What InvestNext contributes: Available opportunity, commitment, and investment transaction records for the selected raise, including relevant dates where exposed through MCP.

A Note on Connections, Accuracy, and Judgment
These are workflow recipes to adapt and test with your own setup. Available information and actions depend on your connected tools, subscriptions, permissions, and field mappings. In HubSpot, enabling the Sensitive Data setting prevents its Claude connector from accessing engagement history.
InvestNext MCP remains read-only and permission-aware. HubSpot actions and Zapier automations operate through their own permissions and configuration. Always review investor matches, figures, and generated materials before using them.
